Hey y'all, I was
fiddling around with my
LEGOs a few days back, and I
thought, "wouldn't it be cool if I could make a LEGO car that could transform into a big robot?... nah, it would take forever and it wouldn't look very much like a car or a robot and I probably don't have enough pieces"... so I made it anyway :-) It
actually only to two days to make and I just refined the shoulder joints today to
incorporate more movement. All in all, it took about 6 hours to design, test new techniques, and build. Total number of pieces: about 300. have a peek at these pics I just took:
This would be the car. despite my initial speculation, it somewhat resembles an Audi R8, which is in my opinion one of the coolest looking cars ever built.
The car has just part-way transformed. Where the wheel well once was, an arm as emerged. Mister LEGO dude is toast now.
Oh-well, too bad for him... I guess LEGO people don't know a transformer when they see one :-)
