Hey y'all, I'm back, and quite happy to be so; some of my many acomplishments today are:
I finished my school work extraodinarily early,
came up with an idea for a board game called "who wants to run for president?",
figured out what was wrong with Josh Y's gun (with Jonny's help),
discovered the answer to Sam's latest genius of the hour contest (without even knowing it) and,
read the entire Constitution of the United States (which is something most lawers haven't done)
Maybe all that dosn't impress you very much, but thats OK, I enjoyed today's activities and I feel good about them... sigh. :-)
see ya'... sigh.

I hope everyone has started working on their story for the 100th post contest. You still have time, but you'd better get some ideas flowin'!

What was the problem with Josh's gun?
well, not quite "found the problem", a bit more like, "almost absolutely sure what the problem is" we thought it was the battery that was causing all the problems, but when we charged it and used it on Josh's gun it worked perfectly fine... so, we're pretty sure that the problem lies somewhere in Josh's battery charger, that would explain every thing; the short battery life, the low humming, everything.
So what we're going to do is try and charge my battery with Josh's charger. Then we'll see if Josh's gun works. if it does, we have no idea what the problem is, if it doesn't work, Josh needs to buy a new charger.
One more thing though; we did some research on the battery that came with Josh's gun, and acording to the only two ratings on that battery, it "has very short life in cold weather" and, "If you overcharge it, it gets messed up"-Josh may have accidently overcharged it, which normaly I would say is OK, I accidently overcharge my batteries all the time, but with this particular battery it may have done some damage. maybe.
So to answer you question, I think the problem has several factors; the posibility that Josh over charged it, the batteries otherwise dubious history, and the posibility that his charger is malfunctioning.
Good question, sorry for the long answer, I'll tell everyone when we're absolutely sure what is wrong with it. thanks.

P.S. are you going with David to the muzzloader-show-thingy on Saturday?
